The following installation guide we take you through the installation of your new ALPHAREX HEADLIGHTS for your 08-10 FORD SUPER DUTY step by step.
NOTE: Some vehicle require the DRL harness installed for the headlight to function properly.

Step 1: DISCONNECTING THE NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Whenever working on your vehicle always start by disconnecting the negative battery terminal.
Step 2: REMOVE HEADLIGHT BOLTS
First, open the hood and start by removing the 4 X 7mm bolts from each headlight.
(1 bolt on the top, 2 bolts on the side and 1 bolt at the bottom)
Next, carefully pull forward the headlight and unplug the lights sockets for the headlight removal.
Please follow the same steps for the other side.
Step 3: ROUTE THE DRL HARNESS
Route the daytime running lights harness to the two headlights.
Start at the passenger side which is closest to the trucks battery.
Step 4: TAP THE FUSE
Crimp the gray wire from the daytime running lights harness to the fuse tap.
Go to the fuse box and tap into any of the highlighted fuse.
Connect the red wire to the battery positive terminal and the black wire to the battery negative terminal.
Step 5: PLUG AND INSTALL HEADLIGHTS
Connect low/ high beam, daytime running lights and turn signal wiring harnesses to the new ALPHAREX headlight.
Then finish the installation by securing the headlight to the truck.
Repeat the previous steps for the opposite side headlight for installation.
Step 6: TEST THE HEADLIGHT FUNCTIONS
Test the functions of your ALPHAREX headlights to ensure everything works properly.
Step 7: ADJUST HEADLIGHT LEVEL
Once everything has been tested aim your ALPHAREX headlights by parking 25ft from a wall and level the headlight beams evenly.
Turn clockwise: to lower the light
Turn counterclockwise: to raise the light
Step 8: COMPLETE INSTALLATION
Congratulations! you have completed the installation for ALPHAREX 08-10 Ford Super Duty F-250 / F-350 / F-450 / F-550 headlights.
